ReleaseEdit
In hsi review, film critic Balaji Balasubramaniam wrote "with a complex story, a complicated screenplay, unfamiliar actors and no masala elements like fights or comedy or item numbers, Aayul Regai is Tamil cinema at its riskiest!"[3]
