Ariful Haque (Birth: 12 October 1934) is a Bangladeshi actor and writer.[1][2][3] His debut in the films was through Uttarayan in 1963, directed by Agradoot. Later he migrated to East Pakistan (present-day Bangladesh) and took part in many films.[1] He wrote many books among which Hyadarabad Tragedy o Ajker Bangladesh was notable.[4]
Early life[edit]
Ariful Haque was born at his maternal uncles's place of village Mahadevpur of Bagnan region of Hawrah District of India on 12 October 1938.[2] He went to Barakpur Govt High School, Uluberia College and Jadavpur University for education.
Career[edit]
Uttarayan, the first film he acted in, was released in Kolkata on 1963.[1] He performed in around two hundred films which were released.[5]
