Archana acted in only 3 movies in her lifetime, Umang in 1970, Buddha Mil Gaya in 1972 and Anokha Dan (1972). After that she married, despite having a reasonably good future in films. She was the daughter of Hemen Gupta who directed Kabuliwala. ^[1] She got married to Yogesh Motwani. Her father Hemen Gupta was a freedom fighter who was from Dacca. He directed movies like Anand Math and Kabuliwala
