Anand Pandit is an Indian film producer, film distributor, real estate developer, politician, and philanthropist. He is the Founder of Lotus Developers, which develops high-end real estate in Mumbai, India. He owns Anand Pandit Motion Pictures, a film studio that has produced and distributed Hindi films such as Total Dhamaal (2019), Missing (2018), Sarkar 3 (2018), and Great Grand Masti (2016). Anand Pandit has also produced several films including The Big Bull starring Abhishek Bachchan as well as the upcoming Chehre starring Amitabh Bachchan, Emran Hashmi, Krystle Dsouza, Rhea Chakraborty, etc.

Career[edit]

Pandit entered the media and film industry around 2000 and has produced, distributed and financed more than 40 films.^[1] He has often said that when it comes to movies, quality content is the key. He believes that at the heart of a movie should be content that should be enjoyable with the family.^[2]

In 2020 Anand Pandit had two films release the same day - The Big Bull on Hotstar and Well Done Baby, a Marathi film on Amazon Prime. Anand Pandit's upcoming film as producer starring Amitabh Bachchan and Emran Hashami titled Chehre is under production, scheduled to release in 2021 and has been postponed due to Covid.^[3]
