Amar Prem[lower-alpha 1] (lit. 'Immortal love') is a 1989 Bengali film directed by Sujit Guha and produced under the banner of Sandip Films Pvt. Ltd. The film features actors Prosenjit Chatterjee and Juhi Chawla in the lead roles. Music of the film has been composed by Bappi Lahiri.[1][2][3] It was declared a Blockbuster upon release.
Plot[edit | edit source]
Deepika and Subho, who are in love, struggle to unite as Deepika's father disapproves of Subho. Meanwhile, her father betroths her to an evil man who is only interested in their family's property.
