Alaigal (lit. The Waves) is a 1973 Tamil film, produced and directed by C. V. Sridhar. The film stars Vishnuvardhan and Chandrakala in the lead roles.[1] It was the first Tamil film of Kannada actor Vishnuvardhan. This film was dubbed into Telugu as Lakshmi Nirdoshi.
