Abul Kashem (Bengali: আবুল কাশেম) is a Bangladesh Nationalist Party politician and the former Member of Parliament of Dhaka-16.

Career[edit]

Kashem was a sub-sector commander of the Mukti Bahini during Bangladesh Liberation War in 1971.[1]

Kashem was elected to parliament from Dhaka-16 as a Bangladesh Nationalist Party candidate in 1979.[2] He served as the Minister of Youth Development in the cabinet of President Abdus Sattar.[1]

Death[edit]

Kashem died on 18 July 2018 and was buried in Comilla Adarsha Sadar Upazila in his family graveyard.[3]
