Abhijit Ashok Paul (Abhijit A Paul Born:17 July 1982 Kolkata, India) is an Indian Film Director[1][2][3] Recently his film NAAD - THE SOUND, has been officially selected for screening in International Film Festival of India, non- feature category indian panorama[1][4][5][6][7][8] he got Jury Award for his film Chhipi – The Cap in International Science Film Festival (ISFFI 2019) by Ministry of Science & technology. His recent film 'Am I?' got first prize in 'Marching Towards Atmanirbharta' by NFDC & Ministry of Information & Broadcast. His film 'Pencil' was winner in the competition named #spooksrk by Redchillies Entertainment[9][10][11].
Early Life[edit]
He is born in a simple Bengali family in Kolkata. His mother Milan Paul is housewife, his father Late Ashok Kr. Paul was a group -D staff in RG Kar Medical College Hospital. his sister is UD CLARK in RG Kar medical college hospital. during his college life he did theatre under the group named 'Tathagat natya company'. He always follow & admire Satyajit Ray as his idol.[12]

Career[edit]
After completing his study he was working as freelance artist as well as filmmaker and after that he joined fine arts faculty – South Gujarat University as visiting lecturer for 2 years. Abhijit Ashok Paul(Abhijit A. Paul / Abhijit Paul) got the INLAKS FINE ARTS AWARD 2006. He made his first short film named SCRIPTED got BEST FILM award e-Bioscope online Bengali international short film festival.[24][16]
Education[edit]
He has done his graduation (2006) in Painting and post-graduation in Visual Arts in the year of 2008 from the Faculty of Fine Arts M.S.University,Vadodara. Gujarat. he also did his post graduation Diploma in Educational Technology 2020.[14]
