Rami is a village in Sindkhede in Dhule district of Maharashtra State, India. It is located 32 kilometres (20 mi) from sub district headquarter and 65 kilometres (40 mi) from district headquarter. The village is administrated by Sarpanch an elected representative of the village as per Panchayati raj (India). [1]
Demography[edit | edit source]
As of 2009, The village has a total number of 753 houses and a population of 3964 of which 2059 are males while 1905 are females. According to the report published by Census India in 2011, out of the total population of the village 265 people are from Schedule Caste and 1219 are from Schedule Tribes Caste.[1]
