Rakaswade is a village in Nandurbar district of Maharashtra State, India. It is located 5 kilometres (3.1 mi) from sub district headquarter and 5 kilometres (3.1 mi) from district headquarter. The village is administrated by Sarpanch an elected representative of the village as per Panchayati raj (India). [1]


Demography[edit | edit source]

As of 2009, The village has a total number of 257 houses and a population of 1346 of which 620 are males while 726 are females. According to the report published by Census India in 2011, out of the total population of the village 42 people are from Schedule Caste and 740 are from Schedule Tribes Caste.[1]
