Patonda is a village in Nandurbar district of Maharashtra State, India. It is located 5 kilometres (3.1 mi) from sub district headquarter and 5 kilometres (3.1 mi) from district headquarter. The village is administrated by Sarpanch an elected representative of the village as per Panchayati raj (India). [1]


Demography[edit | edit source]

As of 2009, The village has a total number of 612 houses and a population of 3079 of which 1566 are males while 1513 are females. According to the report published by Census India in 2011, out of the total population of the village 186 people are from Schedule Caste and 2104 are from Schedule Tribes Caste.[1]
