Moharad is a village in Chopda in Jalgaon district of Maharashtra State, India. It is located 29 kilometres (18 mi) from sub district headquarter and 32 kilometres (20 mi) from district headquarter. The village is administrated by Sarpanch an elected representative of the village as per Panchayati raj (India).[1]


Demography[edit | edit source]

As of 2009, The village has a total number of 507 houses and a population of 2590 of which 1401 are males while 1189 are females. According to the report published by Census India in 2011, out of the total population of the village 77 people are from Schedule Caste and 1837 are from Schedule Tribes Caste.[1]
