Kareghat is a village in Nawapur tehsil in Nandurbar district of Maharashtra State, India. It is located 26 kilometres (16 mi) from sub district headquarter and 86 kilometres (53 mi) from district headquarter. The village is administrated by Sarpanch an elected representative of the village as per Panchayati raj (India). [1]

As of 2009, The village has a total number of 171 houses and a population of 1016 of which 526 are males while 490 are females. According to the report published by Census India in 2011, out of the total population of the village 0 people are from Schedule Caste and 1002 are from Schedule Tribes Caste.[1]
