Kakarde is a village in Nandurbar district of Maharashtra State, India. It is located 12 kilometres (7.5 mi) from sub district headquarter and 12 kilometres (7.5 mi) from district headquarter. The village is administrated by Sarpanch an elected representative of the village as per Panchayati raj (India). [1]


Demography[edit | edit source]

As of 2009, The village has a total number of 380 houses and a population of 1694 of which 841 are males while 853 are females. According to the report published by Census India in 2011, out of the total population of the village 78 people are from Schedule Caste and 572 are from Schedule Tribes Caste.[1]
