Dhong is a village in Nawapur tehsil in Nandurbar district of Maharashtra State, India. It is located 35 kilometres (22 mi) from sub district headquarter and 27 kilometres (17 mi) from district headquarter. The village is administrated by Sarpanch an elected representative of the village as per Panchayati raj (India). [1]


Demography[edit | edit source]

As of 2009, The village has a total number of 432 houses and a population of 2046 of which 1010 are males while 1036 are females. According to the report published by Census India in 2011, out of the total population of the village 13 people are from Schedule Caste and 2029 are from Schedule Tribes Caste.[1]
