Mahelkhedi is a village in Yawal in Jalgaon district of Maharashtra State, India. It is located 8 kilometres (5.0 mi) from sub district headquarter and 58 kilometres (36 mi) from district headquarter. The village is administrated by Sarpanch an elected representative of the village as per Panchayati raj (India).[1]

Demography[edit | edit source]

As of 2009, The village has a total number of 303 houses and a population of 1258 of which 651 are males while 607 are females. According to the report published by Census India in 2011, out of the total population of the village 205 people are from Schedule Caste and 265 are from Schedule Tribes Caste.[1]
