Gidhade is a village in Shirpur tehsil in Dhule district of Maharashtra State, India. It is located 12 kilometres (7.5 mi) from sub district headquarter and 61 kilometres (38 mi) from district headquarter. The village is administrated by Sarpanch an elected representative of the village as per Panchayati raj (India). [1]
Demography[edit | edit source]
As of 2009, The village has a total number of 304 houses and a population of 1575 of which 798 are males while 777 are females. According to the report published by Census India in 2011, out of the total population of the village 278 people are from Schedule Caste and 324 are from Schedule Tribes Caste.[1]
