Valkhede is a village in Sindkhede in Dhule district of Maharashtra State, India. It is located 30 kilometres (19 mi) from sub district headquarter and 30 kilometres (19 mi) from district headquarter. The village is administrated by Sarpanch an elected representative of the village as per Panchayati raj (India). [1]
Demography[edit | edit source]
As of 2009, The village has a total number of 671 houses and a population of 3237 of which 1656 are males while 1581 are females. According to the report published by Census India in 2011, out of the total population of the village 197 people are from Schedule Caste and 1190 are from Schedule Tribes Caste.[1]
