Umati is a village in Akkalkuwa in Nandurbar district of Maharashtra State, India. It is located 45 kilometres (28 mi) from sub district headquarter and 90 kilometres (56 mi) from district headquarter. The village is administrated by Sarpanch an elected representative of the village as per Panchayati raj (India). [1]

As of 2009, The village has a total number of 115 houses and a population of 708 of which 347 are males while 361 are females. According to the report published by Census India in 2011, out of the total population of the village 0 people are from Schedule Caste and 708 are from Schedule Tribes Caste.[1]
