Samsherpur is a village in Nandurbar district of Maharashtra State, India. It is located 19 kilometres (12 mi) from sub district headquarter and 19 kilometres (12 mi) from district headquarter. The village is administrated by Sarpanch an elected representative of the village as per Panchayati raj (India). [1]
Demography[edit | edit source]
As of 2009, The village has a total number of 474 houses and a population of 2267 of which 1162 are males while 1105 are females. According to the report published by Census India in 2011, out of the total population of the village 258 people are from Schedule Caste and 1009 are from Schedule Tribes Caste.[1]
