Qaseem Haider Qaseem (born Syed Qaseem Haider; 26 January 1987) is an Indian actor, writer, lyricist and poet who has worked in television, films and music videos. He is associated with Urdu poetry and independent music projects.
Early life[edit | edit source]
Qaseem Haider Qaseem was born as Syed Qaseem Haider on 26 January 1987 in Sasaram, Bihar, and was raised in Najibabad, Uttar Pradesh. He later moved to Mumbai to pursue a career in writing and acting.[1]
Career[edit | edit source]
Qaseem began his acting career with the television programme Kahin Der Na Ho Jaye, which was broadcast on DD National.[2] He subsequently appeared in films and music videos. His acting credits include Hum Hai King and Pledge to Protect, among other projects.[3]
Qaseem has also worked as a lyricist and writer for independent music. His credits include songs such as Beqaraar Maahi, Sambhal Jao, Hhasrat and Tajjub Hai.[4][5]
In 2025, he wrote the lyrics for the Hindi song Hhasrat and appeared in its music video alongside Ayushi Tiwari and Harpreet.[6] The song's credits identify Qaseem as its songwriter.[7] Later in 2025, he wrote the lyrics for Tajjub Hai, performed by Harmaan Nazim with music by Sahajahn Shaikh Sagar.[8]
