Narod is a village in Chopda in Jalgaon district of Maharashtra State, India. It is located 10 kilometres (6.2 mi) from sub district headquarter and 50 kilometres (31 mi) from district headquarter. The village is administrated by Sarpanch an elected representative of the village as per Panchayati raj (India).[1]
Demography[edit | edit source]
As of 2009, The village has a total number of 96 houses and a population of 441 of which 230 are males while 211 are females. According to the report published by Census India in 2011, out of the total population of the village 25 people are from Schedule Caste and 94 are from Schedule Tribes Caste.[1]
