Kumar Saurabh (born 12 September 1992) is an Indian actor who work in Hindi films, television, and web series. He is known for his supporting roles in films such as Laal Rang (2016), Baaghi 2 (2018), and Shamshera (2022), as well as web series including High (2020) and Maharani 2 (2022)[1]
Early life and education[edit | edit source]
Kumar Saurabh was born on 12 September 1992 in Faridabad, Haryana, India. He was raised in Katiyar, Bihar. He graduated in Political Science from D.S. College, Katiyar. He later pursued formal training in acting at the Madhya Pradesh School of Drama, Bhopal.[2][3]
Career[edit | edit source]
Kumar Saurabh moved to Mumbai in 2014 to pursue acting and began his career with episodic roles in television shows, including Crime Patrol. He made his television debut with Tere Sheher Main in 2015. He made his film debut with Laal Rang (2016) as Shani Baba and appeared in films such as Veerappan and Dongri Ka Raja. He later featured in films including Baaraat Company (2017), Baaghi 2 (2018), Blank (2019), and Shamshera (2022). He has also worked in web series such as High (2020), Maharani 2 (2022) and Guns & Gulaabs (2023).[4]
Personal life[edit | edit source]
Kumar Saurabh comes from a middle class family. He has two brothers and one sister. He has spoken about facing body shaming during his early life due to his short stature. He is unmarried and reside in Mumbai, Maharastra.[5][6]
