Bhatane is a village in Shirpur tehsil in Dhule district of Maharashtra State, India. It is located 18 kilometres (11 mi) from sub district headquarter and 76 kilometres (47 mi) from district headquarter. The village is administrated by Sarpanch an elected representative of the village as per Panchayati raj (India). [1]


Demography[edit | edit source]

As of 2009, The village has a total number of 680 houses and a population of 3203 of which 1638 are males while 1565 are females. According to the report published by Census India in 2011, out of the total population of the village 571 people are from Schedule Caste and 491 are from Schedule Tribes Caste.[1]
