Wal Amarai is a village in Nawapur tehsil in Nandurbar district of Maharashtra State, India. It is located 22 kilometres (14 mi) from sub district headquarter and 43 kilometres (27 mi) from district headquarter. The village is administrated by Sarpanch an elected representative of the village as per Panchayati raj (India). [1]

As of 2009, The village has a total number of 385 houses and a population of 1634 of which 787 are males while 847 are females. According to the report published by Census India in 2011, out of the total population of the village 0 people are from Schedule Caste and 1622 are from Schedule Tribes Caste.[1]
