Tawase Bk. is a village in Chopda in Jalgaon district of Maharashtra State, India. It is located 14 kilometres (8.7 mi) from sub district headquarter and 60 kilometres (37 mi) from district headquarter. The village is administrated by Sarpanch an elected representative of the village as per Panchayati raj (India).[1]
Demography[edit | edit source]
As of 2009, The village has a total number of 358 houses and a population of 1741 of which 876 are males while 865 are females. According to the report published by Census India in 2011, out of the total population of the village 119 people are from Schedule Caste and 413 are from Schedule Tribes Caste.[1]
