Tamthre is a village in Sindkhede in Dhule district of Maharashtra State, India. It is located 35 kilometres (22 mi) from sub district headquarter and 60 kilometres (37 mi) from district headquarter. The village is administrated by Sarpanch an elected representative of the village as per Panchayati raj (India).[1]


Demography[edit | edit source]

As of 2009, The village has a total number of 470 houses and a population of 2364 of which 1219 are males while 1145 are females. According to the report published by Census India in 2011, out of the total population of the village 231 people are from Schedule Caste and 613 are from Schedule Tribes Caste.[1]
