Raingan is a village in Nawapur tehsil in Nandurbar district of Maharashtra State, India. It is located 6 kilometres (3.7 mi) from sub district headquarter and 64 kilometres (40 mi) from district headquarter. The village is administrated by Sarpanch an elected representative of the village as per Panchayati raj (India). [1]

As of 2009, The village has a total number of 604 houses and a population of 2401 of which 1179 are males while 1222 are females. According to the report published by Census India in 2011, out of the total population of the village 0 people are from Schedule Caste and 2384 are from Schedule Tribes Caste.[1]
