List of Bharatpedias is the central directory of multi-lingual editions of Bharatpedia. Because India is a linguistically diverse nation with rich regional cultures, Bharatpedia operates across multiple language editions to make open knowledge accessible in native scripts and regional tongues.

Bharatpedia is built on the principle that knowledge should be freely accessible in everyone's native language. Each language edition functions as an independent wiki community sharing core site policies, global user accounts, and technical infrastructure while maintaining its own distinct content, articles, and community discussions.

Proposing a New Language Edition[edit | edit source]

If your preferred regional language is not currently listed among active subdomains, you can request a new language edition:

Ensure there is a community of at least 3–5 active translators and contributors committed to writing content and translating core interface messages.
Verify that the language possesses a standardized script supported by Unicode and MediaWiki.
Post a formal proposal on the WikiProject Languages Discussion Page outlining the language code, script details, and initial volunteer list.
