Khachane is a village in Chopda in Jalgaon district of Maharashtra State, India. It is located 13 kilometres (8.1 mi) from sub district headquarter and 60 kilometres (37 mi) from district headquarter. The village is administrated by Sarpanch an elected representative of the village as per Panchayati raj (India).[1]
Demography[edit | edit source]
As of 2009, The village has a total number of 361 houses and a population of 1556 of which 807 are males while 749 are females. According to the report published by Census India in 2011, out of the total population of the village 71 people are from Schedule Caste and 68 are from Schedule Tribes Caste.[1]
