Jalkhe is a village in Nandurbar district of Maharashtra State, India. It is located 17 kilometres (11 mi) from sub district headquarter and 17 kilometres (11 mi) from district headquarter. The village is administrated by Sarpanch an elected representative of the village as per Panchayati raj (India).[1]
Demography[edit | edit source]
As of 2009, The village has a total number of 334 houses and a population of 1800 of which 899 are males while 901 are females. According to the report published by Census India in 2011, out of the total population of the village 4 people are from Schedule Caste and 1764 are from Schedule Tribes Caste.[1]
