School of Technology and Applied Sciences (STAS), was established in the year 1993, by the Mahatma Gandhi University,Kerala.[1] At present, the institution is under the direct administrative control of Centre for Professional and Advanced Studies (CPAS),Kerala[2] with three regional centres at Kottayam,[3] Kochi[4][5] and Pathanamthitta.[6] The institution offers Bachelors and Postgraduate degrees mainly in the areas of computer science, cyber forensics and electronics.[7]
