Puthooram is an Indian cable TV operator based in Karukachal, Kerala, and launched in 1998. The network, along with nine other networks, started their local TV channel in 1999 under the name "Channel Nine". In 2005, Puthooram Cable Network launched their own channel 'Puthooram', followed by 'Puthooram Plus' in 2007.

The channel is named its founder Rajesh Puthooram. The ardhachakra logo was designed by founder. The slogan, Nadinte Drisyajaalakam, translates to the country's viewport.

Puthooram's broadcasts are received in Kottayam district and Pathanamthitta district.

Puthooram Channel

Puthooram is a general entertainment local channel with a wide variety of programmes including films, news, roadshows, phone-in Programmes, cultural programmes, comedy and religious programmes. Some of the popular shows are:

  • Puthooram News, reports local news from the districts of Kottayam and Pathanamthitta. It was launched in 2005 and its slogan is "Nadinte Neru Nerathe Ariyaan", which translates to "to know early on the truth about the country".
