Kairali TV is a leftist[2] Indian television channel broadcast in Malayalam-language. The channel, headquartered at Thiruvananthapuram, has studio facilities at Thiruvananthapuram and Kochi. Malayalam Communications Limited is the holding company which is owned by Communist Party of India (Marxist).[3] John Brittas serves as the current Managing Director.[4] Mammootty serves as the channel's Chairman. Mohanlal was formerly a Director of the channel.[5][6]
