Laksar Junction railway station is a railway station located in Laksar, which is a small city in Haridwar district in the Indian state of Uttarakhand.
Laksar Junction railway station, station code LRJ, is one of the major railway stations in Uttrakhand. It is the largest railway junction of the state. It was opened in the year of 1866 when Awadh-Rohilkhand line was extended to Saharanpur.
Laksar Junction railway station serve to the Laksar city and its nearby areas. A total number of 84 trains have stoppage here which include passenger trains, mail/express trains, superfast and Garib Rath trains etc. Laksar Junction is well connected with almost all parts of the country. Some important trains passes through Laksar are -Sadbhawna Express, Shaheed Express, Ganga-Satluj Express, Intercity Express, Doon Express, Mussorie Express etc
Laksar railway station is located on the junction point of Dehradun -Saharanpur and Moradabad.It is an interchange station for the trains coming from Saharanpur and Dehradun or Haridwar.Many important trains have halt here those do not stop at Roorkee and Najibabad Junction station. It includes several trains such as Barfaani SF, Mordhwaj Express, Antyodya Express, Jansadharan Express etc.
The railway station is well equipped with all kind of passenger amenities such as drinkable water, waiting hall, toilets, clocks and train information display boards etc.
