M.P.Abdussamad Samadani is an Indian politician. He was a two time Parliament member (Rajya Sabha: 1994-2000, 2000-2006)[1][2] and also a member of the Kerala Legislative Assembly (Kottkkal constituency 2011-2016). He was nominated as the Convenor of the Parliamentary Sub-committee on Universities and Higher Education and member of Central Advisory Board of Education, Government of India. He also worked as a member of Kerala Sahitya Academy and Kerala Kalamandalam.
