Ahaan Panday (born 23 December 1997) is an Indian actor and fashion model. He made his Hindi film debut with Mohit Suri’s romantic drama Saiyaara (2025), produced by Yash Raj Films, which became one of the highest-grossing Hindi films of the year.[1]
Early life
Panday was born in Mumbai, India, to businessman Chikki Panday and fitness expert Deanne Panday. He belongs to the Panday family and is the nephew of actor Chunky Panday and cousin of actress Ananya Panday.
He attended Oberoi International School and later studied at the University of Mumbai. Prior to his acting career, he gained attention on social media platforms through short-form content.
Career
Early work (2016–2024)
Panday began his career working behind the scenes as an assistant director on films such as Freaky Ali (2016) and Rock On 2 (2016). He also appeared in short films including Fifty (2017).
He made his debut in the fashion industry in 2016, walking the runway for designer Nandita Mahtani.
Breakthrough with Saiyaara (2025)
Panday made his acting debut as a lead actor in Saiyaara (2025), directed by Mohit Suri. The film co-starred Aneet Padda and was produced by Aditya Chopra under Yash Raj Films.
