Baishali Dalmiya is a member of the West Bengal Legislative Assembly. She represents the Bally Assembly Constituency.[1][2][3] She is daughter of Indian cricket administrator and businessman Jagmohan Dalmiya.
She joined politics in 2016, shortly after her father's death, and joined the All India Trinamool Congress, was immediately given the ticket to contest the assembly election from the Bally Assembly Constituency constituency, and was subsequently elected to the state assembly. On 30 January 2021, she joined the Bharatiya Janata Party along with Rajib Banerjee, Prabir Ghoshal, Rathin Chakraborty and Rudranil Ghosh in presence of Amit Shah in New Delhi.[4]
