About College
This polytechnic is affiliated to the West Bengal State Council of Technical Education ,[1][2] and recognized by All India Council for Technical Education,[3] New Delhi. This polytechnic offers Diploma in Engineering courses four variant branches.[4].On academic season 2023-24, changed the present name of the college from 'IMPS Polytechnic College Jalpaiguri' to 'Jalpaiguri Institute of Technology'.[5][6]
