Talamba is a village in Akkalkuwa in Nandurbar district of Maharashtra State, India. It is located 22 kilometres (14 mi) from sub district headquarter and 68 kilometres (42 mi) from district headquarter. The village is administrated by Sarpanch an elected representative of the village as per Panchayati raj (India).[1]
Demography[edit]
As of 2009, The village has a total number of 280 houses and a population of 1472 of which 779 are males while 693 are females. According to the report published by Census India in 2011, out of the total population of the village 7 people are from Schedule Caste and 1456 are from Schedule Tribes Caste.[1]
