Sree Ramu College of Arts & Science .[1] also known as "SREE RAMU CAS" or simply "SRC", is a college situated in the outskirts of Pollachi. The college was inaugurated in 1976 by Shri. S. Ramasamy Reddiar.It is a co-educational institution run by the RVS Trust. The institution is situated on Pollachi - Valparai main road at N.M. Sungam, 13 km away from Pollachi.SRC is the best college of BA in Defence Studies and MA in Defence Studies in Bharathiar university Coimbatore.Dr Alok Kumar Tiwari (MA, UGC NET, PhD in Defence Studies) is a parmanent faculty member of Defence studies in SRC Pollachi COIMBATORE.
