Wakapada is a village in Shirpur tehsil in Dhule district of Maharashtra State, India. It is located 33 kilometres (21 mi) from sub district headquarter and 93 kilometres (58 mi) from district headquarter. The village is administrated by Sarpanch an elected representative of the village as per Panchayati raj (India).[1]


Demography[edit]

As of 2009, The village has a total number of 335 houses and a population of 1842 of which 936 are males while 906 are females. According to the report published by Census India in 2011, out of the total population of the village 52 people are from Schedule Caste and 1781 are from Schedule Tribes Caste.[1]
