Komal Sharma is an Indian film actress and model.[1]
Early life
Komal was born in Chennai, Tamilnadu, India, the youngest among her four siblings. She earned her Bachelor of Computer Applications from Sri Kanyaka Parameswari College for women, Chennai. She earned her Doctorate in 2018. She joined the Squash Racquets Federation of India (SRFI) and won several junior and senior National Squash championships. She even completed the 21 km Chennai Marathon.
Career
Komal has endorsed various national and international brands. She has won Sunsilk Miss Tamil Nadu, Miss Metropolis, Lux Miss Beautiful Skin of Tamil Nadu, Lux Miss Beautiful Skin of South India, IBIBO I Fresh Face of South India and was twice crowned Miss Tamil Nadu in two different events.[2]
In 2013, she was offered a role in S. A. Chandrasekhar's Sattapadi Kutram.[1][3] Before its release, she completed Oothari, directed by Shakti Krishna.[4] Sharma's third movie was Nagaraja Cholan MA, MLA directed by Manivannan. Nagaraja Cholan cholan MA, MLA is the sequel to Amaidipadai. Sharma works in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi language movies.[citation needed] Anu is a Telugu movie directed and produced by Sunil Kumar. It is Komal's Telugu debut with co-stars Suman and Possani Ramakrishnan. Immediately after that she signed Vaigai Express in Tamil directed by director Shaji Kailash. Natrinai is a Tamil movie directed and produced by director Gautham Elangovan. Marakkar arbikadalinte simham is her debut movie in malyalam directed by director Priyadarshan, before its release Marakkar has won three national awards, In Marakkar she is paired opposite to actor Arjun Sarja. Ittymani made in China is directed by director Jibi and Joju the movie was commercially successful among Onam release movies. She won best actress award at chilli International film festival for her movie Security short film directed by director Udhaya Alagappan. Security has won many international awards at various film festivals. Komal's next in Tamil is Shoot Boot 3 directed by Director Arunachalam Vaidhyanathan. Komal has finished another untitled Tamil movie Director Samuthirakani is doing a titular role in this.
