Malegaon is a village in Muktainagar in Jalgaon district of Maharashtra State, India. It is located 13 kilometres (8.1 mi) from sub district headquarter and 65 kilometres (40 mi) from district headquarter. The village is administrated by Sarpanch an elected representative of the village as per Panchayati raj (India).[1]
Demography
As of 2009, The village has a total number of 217 houses and a population of 1048 of which 524 are males while 524 are females. According to the report published by Census India in 2011, out of the total population of the village 149 people are from Schedule Caste and 311 are from Schedule Tribes Caste.[1]
