Satod is a village in Muktainagar in Jalgaon district of Maharashtra State, India. It is located 41 kilometres (25 mi) from sub district headquarter and 66 kilometres (41 mi) from district headquarter. The village is administrated by Sarpanch an elected representative of the village as per Panchayati raj (India).[1]
Demography[edit | edit source]
As of 2009, The village has a total number of 331 houses and a population of 1354 of which 700 are males while 654 are females. According to the report published by Census India in 2011, out of the total population of the village 120 people are from Schedule Caste and 221 are from Schedule Tribes Caste.[1]
