Marul is a village in Yawal in Jalgaon district of Maharashtra State, India. It is located 15 kilometres (9.3 mi) from sub district headquarter and 55 kilometres (34 mi) from district headquarter. The village is administrated by Sarpanch an elected representative of the village as per Panchayati raj (India).[1]
Demography
As of 2009, The village has a total number of 2068 houses and a population of 10663 of which 5669 are males while 4994 are females. According to the report published by Census India in 2011, out of the total population of the village 561 people are from Schedule Caste and 1666 are from Schedule Tribes Caste.[1]
