Vargavhan is a village in Chopda in Jalgaon district of Maharashtra State, India. It is located 26 kilometres (16 mi) from sub district headquarter and 33 kilometres (21 mi) from district headquarter. The village is administrated by Sarpanch an elected representative of the village as per Panchayati raj (India).[1]


Demography[edit | edit source]

As of 2009, The village has a total number of 549 houses and a population of 2823 of which 1441 are males while 1382 are females. According to the report published by Census India in 2011, out of the total population of the village 118 people are from Schedule Caste and 1634 are from Schedule Tribes Caste.[1]
