Vatar is a village in Chopda in Jalgaon district of Maharashtra State, India. It is located 23 kilometres (14 mi) from sub district headquarter and 40 kilometres (25 mi) from district headquarter. The village is administrated by Sarpanch an elected representative of the village as per Panchayati raj (India).[1]

As of 2009, The village has a total number of 224 houses and a population of 875 of which 447 are males while 428 are females. According to the report published by Census India in 2011, out of the total population of the village 67 people are from Schedule Caste and 390 are from Schedule Tribes Caste.[1]
