Khatkar is a gotra of Jat people found near khatkar Kalan Punjab India. Uchana in Jind district and Mokhra in Rohtak district in Haryana, India. Lot of people with Khatkar Surname reside in couple of village within district Jind Harayana. Few village are Khatkar, Barsola, Chaapaada, Karsindu, Bhadana, Nagurah, paali. People in khatkar Village came from Paali and then some from Khatkar moved to Chhapada, people in these villages usually speaks Haryanvi and 2nd Language is Hindi. We can see a increased number in nuclear family concept compared to joint family, it's is similar to rest of India or Asia. People are really very humble and helpful, sometimes people who doesn't understand Haryanvi much can think the way of speaking is rude but actually its the style of talking and doesn't mean rude actually. People from here doesn't marry in same Surname or villages which is adjoining to their on Village. In Khatkar Village there is One Gurudwara, One Mata temple and Dada Khera. There is a Government school for boy and one for Girls. People feels very proud to tell their surname and village name for all good tasks, Khatkar Village is very famous for Kabbadi team also, at a time there were 5 international Kabbadi players from this Village. You can say it's a unique combination that people from Khatkar village have same village name and same Surname. Khatkar village is now very visible also when you travel from Jind to Patiyala because of Khatkar Toll.
