Jotsoma is an Angami Naga village located about 8 km west from the state capital, Kohima. The total population of the village is about 2,458.[1] Kohima Science College , Doordharshan Kendra, Water Reservoir and Regional Centre of Excellence for Music & Performing Arts (RCEMPA) are located on the hill top of Jotsoma village. Mt Puliebadze which stands at an elevation of 7448 ft(2270.15 m) above sea level offers a breathtaking panoramic view of the entire city of Kohima.
